Buffing Champions
Hi,
I've been playing league for a couple years now and I've noticed recently (couple months), the development of current champions (buffing & nerfing) are not being done in a smart or in a way that reflects the game as a whole.

Unnecessary buffing : Why buff a champion that seem to have finally balanced out? Just because it's not being played as much anymore doesn't mean it's not viable anymore, it just means that the champion has finally gotten to a point where it's balanced and people aren't using it to win an easy game. A great example of this is Ekko. When Ekko was first released he was OP as shit, but then people started playing less of him, not because he was bad, he was still annoying and did a shit ton of dmg. So why the need to give him a buff in the last patch? When you could be using this time to give other champions that have been in the shadows (Urgot).

Are you paying attention to banned champions? Continuous bans of a particular champion probably means there is something off and way too "OP" about a certain champ. Popular banned champions nowadays are like Jax (how about not allowing him to Auto atk during his dodging), Zed(to me should rely more on his ult to land a kill instead of being able to take 75% of a someone's health with two shurikens) and Xin Zhao(nerf irelia). The point of this is to have a give and take to balance the champions. If a champion has a unique skill then they need to strategically use it. With Jax's enormous dmg potential once he jumps on someone, he needs to commit to a fight to lock down the kill but at the same time making him vulnerable so he'd have to use the dodge to get out of a sticky situation, not use his dodge to bulldoze the whole enemy team while his dodge is running and him whacking at the same time which visually makes no sense( how is he still auto attacking when he's twirling his only weapon in the air).

Does ahri really need that run speed boost on her Q when her ult allows her the mobility she needs with such a low CD for an ability with 3 jumps? Yasuo's Dash CD should be at the speed of his Auto Atks. At level 1 it makes no sense for him to be able to dash faster than kog maw's spitting. Riven needs more CD on her abilities, having a Q that is practically 3 abilities, you would think there would be a longer CD on it, but no she's going in and out without having any consequences cause why? she's Riven( if you're going to allow a champion that has abilities like her with little to no CD, then reduce her dmg output so people play her with more strategy. A lot of champions like Garen (bruisers) should not be able to be as tanky as they are with no tank items. These champions are just building dmg and able to 1v3-5. How is that okay?
My point of this is to shine the light on the fact that this game has become more about champions that has abilities that just takes over the entire gameplay rather than champions that takes skills and strategy. I hope the future of this game will make champions more challenging to learn and master rather than everything being able to kill with 2 abilities.
