RANKED FLEX 5v5 DOUBLE TOP LANE ASSIGNMENT BUG

Is it just me or does it feel weird that the league client assigns two champs top lane in a full 5v5 ranked flex game? Although we both initially locked in as top in the pre-game lobby it would seem appropriate to assign us a lane based on a random number generator that can differentiate who will play top and who will play middle. Not sure if this a bug or if this is desired, but the workflow felt somewhat skewed to me.
