Should I even consider playing Assasins in the jungle at this point?

With all the reworks that tanks are getting and how good they are in low ELO (fail to follow up on my gank? No problem, I can survive their cc and damage to get out and eat some honeyfruit. Teamfights? Sure, I have all the aoe's in the world, etc.) I'm questioning wether or not I wanna get into learning and , two champs with low skill floors but very high skill ceilings, (vision control, mind games, counterjungling, knowing when to try and splitpush late, being not-particularly-good late game). Would it even be worth it at this point with how situationally good assasins can be versus a general purpose tank?

Now before anyone reads this and complains about how i'm doubting their power, i'm not, i've just used squishy junglers before and they just don't match my playstyle or have the map presence needed, like not farming between a few ganks, securing objectives at low health, and even serving as a body block sometimes for your 14/0/0 Jayce.
