leaver buster is really a pain when you have bad internet connection

Im wasting my entire day trying to get rid of a leaver buster penalty i didn't even leave a match for . Leaver buster is really a pain when you have bad internet connection, but a lot of the time it is connection and ping issues on riot games LOL servers. they need to differentiate the difference between a connection disconnect versus an intentional leaver. the game disconnected in the middle in the match leaving me no choice but to exit the game to reconnect again. after wards i get slapped with a leaver buster penalty when riot servers decided to dc on me. they should at least spare me when i reconnect to the game. a leaver would just not reconnect at all. this leaver buster thing does the opposite of managing leavers and drawing people to play LOL im discouraged to leave the game entirely because of this program.

if you have internet problems, you shouldn't be trying to play a game that requires you to maintain a stable connection for extended periods of time. You should be looking into your internet connection and see what is wrong with it and what can be done to stabilize it. You can also play a bot game or a custom game and see if you have a stable enough connection to play the game. You are inconveniencing 9 other players by DCing in the middle of the match. It doesn't matter if you comeback, you coming back 10+ mins after is still the same, the game is more than likely ruined. I will agree that people who return to the game should receive a less serious penalty but that's about it

Bad internet connection is the real pain.

I doubt it's riots fault. I pretty much never have even the slightest hiccup, but I also have great internet. If your internet is causing you to have extreme ping or dc's, either upgrade your internet or don't play League. It is unfair for your teammates to have to play with someone who can't actually contribute because they are either lagging too much to do anything or can't even connect to the game.

they need to differentiate the difference between a connection disconnect versus an intentional leaver.

Tell me a way that would identify the difference that doesn't require Riot to NSA levels of privacy invasion.

Did I yank the plug on my PC, or did my power go out? Is my internet provider failing me, or did I just unplug from the router? Did Windows need to install updates, or did I just close the lid on my laptop?

We all know there are people who would use these things to leave games, resulting in the rest of us being in 4v5's.

The good news is most of these problems happen so infrequently that there's no problem.

i mean 445 ping isn't normal on this LOL NA server

You're right, it's not normal. I highly doubt you'd get 445ms ping at your local library or at a friends house. You should probably check your network.
