Rock, paper, scissors... but not really.

Once there was this cool concept that everything had to be countered by something else. This game has been trying to go that way for a while. With the recent changes of AD, AP and Magic Resist items, the intention was that: Tanks killed mages with their high magic resist, mages killed adcs with their high burst damage, and adcs killed tanks with their uncontested damage output to singular targets. Rock, paper and scissors, with assassins being a wildcard. But the truth of this patch is that tanks kill mages, adcs kill mages, assassins kill mages, and mages can kill adcs and assassins sometimes, but with more difficulty than they could be killed instead by those. Mages only have one item to defend themselves against AD enemies that has been nerfed with a huge price increase. AD champions have an improved mercurial and hexdrinker/maw.

This is not a fair game. There is no doubt that AP is far behind every other thing, as it is right now.
