I just recently started playing Azir, just before his knock up got taken away. I don't know if this will be seen or thought about, but if you're going to take away the knock up it would be nice if he could pass through enemies instead of stopping in front of them with a little girly shield that no one even notices. That way it would be used as an escape/transportation. Ive never been in a situation where I was like, hey great, I'd love to stop in front of this ADC with my little girl shield. Hey Warwick you looked hungry, let me stop in front of you instead of escaping. Oh no! A Yi alpha strikes on me and my flash isn't up! Quick! Shifting sands away! Uhp, can't. I guess my point is that without the knock up the E is only used for mobility and I feel like it should pass through enemies now. That is all.

The shield is weak? Wha?

I'll give an example of a match I had.

Azir VS. Twisted Fate.

Both of us were fed. Pretty much 11/2/7 for both of us.

He caught me retreating after a fight alone, half-health, and he would've beat me probably if the shield didn't exist. He ulted onto my position, so I quickly rushed him, dropped two soldiers down -- he stuns me at this point, and i'm ticking down to NO health from his ignite -- a quick dash-into him halts him long enough for me to nuke him down before he has time to react from full health, and the shield was the only thing that..well, really let me engage long enough to do that. Plus the knockup. but the shield giving me the defense enough to fight through ignite made that 1v1 engagement more so in my favor, even if he had the upper hand if i didn't act fast enough.

I definitely find the shield useful as a last-ditch effort of fighting someone who's trying to eliminate you.
