why didn't you quit already?

Every game you lose feels like a stab, but a win only feels like a small breeze. The sooner you realize this the sooner you quit, and stop this nonsense :)

When I lose more than 2 games in a row is when I quit for a couple days, or rather try to since sometimes I play through tilt.... Then I come back and start winning.

Nobody wants to entertain the idea, and I have of course zero tangible factual data to back up my assessment other than personal experience and anecdotes from others over the years, but I believe Riot stacks you with increasingly worse teammates the more you win while also stacking the enemy team with better teammates, which results in you eventually getting that likely loss streak off of tilt at just how horrible your teammates are now vs 3 games ago.

I attest that this is done to increase "time played" metrics for their shareholders and encourage more microtransaction purchases. It makes complete logical sense from a business and marketing standpoint to me but everyone just goes "That's not how the elo system works". Again, I understand how the elo system works, but I very much doubt Riot's ability to implement it correctly, or authentically. That's just how I feel.

When I don't play for a minute, the "secret system" or whatever seems to ease back and reset and I start getting teammates and opponents that are more my actual skill level and get way less one sided blow out games.
