custom games experience points

i enjoy playing custom games with my friends usually 6-10 ppl but the fact that i gain nothing from playing with them even though i am still putting time into the game kinda annoys me i think long ago custom games used to give ip (not entirely sure) so i wish if custom games could give me xp when i play them
