My Experience of League this patch

It honestly feels so shit this patch. As a mid lane main it feels like the same picks of Vik, Azir and a smattering of other control mages. The champs i find fun like assassins are god awful and when i pick Zed or LB they have someone like a janna and if i do do well it ends up getting to late game. I hate playing against every adc this patch, QSS is awful against them as they have a stream of slows (Jhin ult, Ashe, Twitch) and devastatingly high damage (Cait, Vayne MF). My Top laners seem to want to pick off meta picks like lulu, karma and very rarely someone in meta while the enemies have teammates that know the meta and so have their trundles, hecarims and Irelias. It feels too team orientated which might sound silly but when i play a game as supp for my friend as JInx who goes like 7/1 on lane but because our top fed their hec jung ( something we can recover from as our top was a tank), our eve (again not exactly in meta) does nothing but aimlessly roaming around and bitching and a mid who while wasn't doing badly could have done a lot better it tends to piss you off when you've done your job of getting the adc fed and through the laning phase and you've peeled as much as you can and warded but your team doesn't do anything. All this to win 2 games then lose 3 and straight away get demoted. Generally i feel i do my job pretty well, with LB i get fed and roam early and late game get the picks but the team has picked bad champs for the situation or just doesn't do their part, with Vik i waveclear, ward and teamfight well and yet the team has picked off meta picks that can neither teamfight well or split push to great effect and at the end of the day it feels like a waste of time to work hard solo qing and duo qing to get to plat and then for this bullshit combination of shit off meta picks and crap teammates to get demoted to Plat 4 and not enjoy 1 second. Riot please hurry up with a meta change or the Assassin rework.
