AFKs

This is my first ever post and will probably be my only post. Anyway, I can't remember how long I have been playing LoL, four or five years, but what I have consistently seen over that time is how the game fails when there is an AFK. I can probably count on one hand the amount of wins I've had in any type of game when my team was down a player. I know there is tools for early surrender/ff, but that does not fix the problem. I personally do not have any fun when there is an AFK and honestly the more this happens the more I'm thinking of leaving LoL. I'm an educated male in his mid thirties with a family that spends money on RP, but I will no longer be spending money on RP due to the failures I see at Riot.

My suggestion is that you offer an incentive to players to come into the game late. I'm sure that there is an algorithm that could be used to determine how much gold they would come into the game with late. Also give them some extra blue essence for their consideration of helping a team down a player.

I don't know if my suggestion would work in ranked games, but it would certainly work in non-ranked and ARAM games. I'm sure my suggestions will fall on deaf ears or at the minimum not be considered for elevation, but I truly feel AFKs is the largest downfall to LoL and needs to be addressed.
