Just a thought...

You know when people in the lower elos, like me, try to learn a champion that they really believe they will enjoy? Of course everyone's gonna fall flat on their faces one or two times, some more than that. It's alright in normals, and I understand the frustration of playing with someone like that in a ranked game. But normals is here to let us make mistakes so we don't in ranked, right? And yet, whenever I happen to be learning a champion in normals, there's always someone negative about it, whether it be on my team or the enemy. Personally, I dislike being a toxic player and ignoring them, but it also makes me mad how intolerant they are of a system that's there for players to use when they're learning. I just want to let all of you lower elo friends out there that if you ever queue and meet up with someone that's trying out a champ, or learning one they like, don't discourage them. We all have to start somewhere, right?

Things would be a lot better if Riot would put aside some of its absurd amount of resources to improve bot AI. If they withheld the prize pool on just one LCS tournament and put it towards their game, they could make bots that play a lot smarter and give people who want to try out a new champion a more accurate assessment of their skill with that champion.

That said, It is indeed unfortunate that people see it that way. Some people say Normals don't mean anything and are fine for practice, then there are some who think every game means everything. It seems to be an unfortunate fact of the game that you'll get a few of those negative people in practice games.

Yeah generally like to at least get a shotout if someone is trying something new. After that feel free to do whatever you want. GLHF

Returning to the original post, currently bot games don't do a good enough job of helping you see if something would actually work in a PVP game because it lacks the things I mentioned earlier.

For example, people will actually complain if you jungle.

Also from a learning standpoint, bot games do not prepare you for proper counter jungling, warding, and objective control.

Review op.gg before trying new stuff but you're so right, kids in normals are such tryhards it's aggravating.
