Riot, pls do something against unfair defeats!

Hey, I'm just sick of this. Everytime I'm in my promotion series someone DC's or AFK's and I'm getting punished for that by losing elo and not getting promoted. I don't even get 'loss avoided' or anything. Riot pls I know you can't refund my time, you probably don't even care about this but I just wanna point this out because it really makes me wanna stop play LoL. I'm not trying to blame all of my defeats on the rest of the team I just think it's so discouraging to see this happen so often and I'm just an average player I can't carry every single game I play and I do understand that people sometimes have bad games but at least that's fair because everyone has the same opportunities.
