Autofill after someone AFK's champ select

Is it supposed to do this? I play sup a lot, I'm TOLD that if I fill or sup, I should get my first choice the game after. Typically I do (I've been quing mid/sup) and I get mid, but then someone dips out and I'm requed, but now the autofill is back on and immediately I'm sent in and I'm sup and the new mid-laner is locking something horrendous (this last time it was lethality soraka T.T).

I approve of autofill personally, but can I please get my desired pick even if someone dips the first champ select?
