Hey @Riot what's the big idea!
You sneaky bastards working in changes to
.... you thought no one would notice BUT IT WAS ME!! DIO-chough* never mind... this is what i'm referring to.

As you can see, Evelynn was hit by an ability and (for those who don't know) this normally completely cancels her stealth. However this Gif shows that her passive has been worked so that she will remain stealthed even when "in-combat". There might be more slight changes to how her passive works, but i can't find anything other than the video demonstrating the "shimmer" affect that mentions ANY tweaks to her.
Let us now go into why exactly this is a problem. Evelynn's stealth has many strengths, but "in-combat" is not one of them and this is a good thing. While this may make sense thematically; game play wise this very well may push her too far, and do it in the worst way. By "worst way" i mean that it both removes a part of her counter play AND makes her easier to play. positioning is extremely important on Evelynn more so than pretty much any other champ. Evelynn has the ability to stand near enemy champs(technically) indefinitely without them knowing she's there, but you have to constantly be paying attention to your surroundings. where is the rest of their team? how much AOE do they have? do they have
? and more are things that the Evelynn player must account for properly or she may be discovered by the enemy. Currently the player is properly punished for mistepping by being removed from stealth. this is a key part of her counterplay since it gives the enemy a window of opportunity to make a play before Evelynn can re-stealth and re-position. this change almost completely removes that counterplay. Evelynn isn't like shaco who can just flash into stealth without you being able to do something. when she gets caught she IS caught unless she plays really well or the enemy messes up. Her passive range indicator is for "out-of-combat"; "in combat" she should be visible or She will be too frustrating for no real reason while also making her easier to play.
In conclusion while this may get her slightly closer to her "theme" some theme simply cannot be realized in-game. just like
and a few others, their "theme" is simply to OP to ever be fully realized in game so we just have to make do with the handicapped versions so that they don't break the game.
sorry for the wall of text just wanted to make my case for my favorite champion in league on these changes that somehow snuck in. and for those who don't want to read the whole thing.
TL;DR: these changes hurt/remove parts of Her counterplay and make Her easier to play = BAD! and should be reverted.
