This game needs TrueER damage!
Riot is trying to balance the game by adding more True damage (which can't be negated by armor), but True damage can still be countered by:
-Healing -Shielding -Building health -Invulnerability -Untargettable -Resurrection (Or undying)
That's like 20 counters to damage! What an outrage! I propose a new, unique type of damage called TrueER damage. TrueER damage is unique because it
- Ignores shields
- Targets your base health pool, ignoring any health that you build and killing you when that number reaches 0
- Adds all healing to the "bonus health pool" that comes from when you build health items, and also ignores it
- Deals double damage to champions who are invulnerable (TAKE THAT KAYLE!)
- Targets champions who are untargettable.
- Kills champions so thoroughly that they can't be resurrected
- Instantly kills tryndamere while he's ulting, and doubles his death timer
- Kills Karthus's undead spirit after he dies (and credits you gold for that kill too). Some high counterplay abilities that need TrueER damage: -Nocturne's ult -Everything in Rengar's kit -Zoe's W (Every offensive spell should deal TrueER damage) -Master Yi's Wuju style
In addition, it would be unbalanced if TrueER damage wasn't available to every champion, so let's put it on items! -Twin Shadows now deals 500 TrueER damage -Duskblade now deals 400 TrueER damage (+ 300 if the target is below 101% health) (+500 per point of lethality) -DFG is reintroduced and converts all damage done to the target to TrueER damage -Infinity edge now converts the remaining 90% of critical strikes that aren't True damage into TrueER damage
And this is clearly unfair for people without money (Lol needs to be friendly to poor champions) so we'll throw it on Summoner spells too! -Your first attack out of teleport deals TrueER damage -Flash deals TrueER damage in an area at your target location (to incentivise those flashy offensive flash plays) -Heal now does TrueER damage to your support, in exchange for tripling your heal (Who needs them anyway?) -Ignite does %of hp TrueER damage (I'm thinking 80% sounds reasonable).
But what about those people who don't want to use summoner spells? Let's make a new rune! NEW RUNE: Tank Invalidator 3,000 (Sorcery) Your spells and attacks stack "Tank-doom" on the target for 10s, converting 10% of your damage into TrueER damage (stacks up to 10 times).
TL:DR: There's way too much counterplay to true damage in the game. We obviously need TrueER damage to compensate.
