Just curious, if he will be nerfed at all or where his future lies. I'm enjoying playing him a lot right now and am seeing him more than ever... Is he even played in the lcs enough to be nerfed?

He's incredibly strong in lane now. Very few counterpicks.

Nerfs are possible, but nerfs are possible for most champions. If you like him, play him. He has quite good reward for time invested.

Since his W nerf possibly not, as that was a big hit to his scaling

He's still really good though

I don't see him being nerfed in the NEAR future. He is a rather new champ which only a fraction of the community understands. He NEEDED his Q to be buffed because his Q trades early game was TERRIBLE. Also, he absolutely NEEDED the W nerf, as he was split pushing turrets way too hard. He had team fight capabilities, long range poke, massive nukes, good escapes, and small kiting potential... adding strong splitpusher/wave clear was too strong.

He's a lot like Heimerdinger. You can't really advance on him but if you just walk away from him there's nothing he can do about it.

Hes too hard to be considered OP.

He has a lot at his finger tips. but not unstoppable, his soldiers zone well, but you can walk around them.... i don't know how many people can't notice the ring around them showing there range.... also his health is so low in game (fun fact lowest health champs are both birds I.E. anivia and azir). He cannot 1v5 people, but he can hold off, that is why he is considered op, he can hold off 3 people with his soldiers and passive and ult. Biding is what azir does best imo, and then attacking at the right moment. Next is safety, he can escape, always having a soldier in the back in case, countering him just means wait till his 2 are popped and go in. He cant stop it. and half the time if you get in his face he hits you if he tries to escape so hes done for. CC is his bane, one silence or stun and its over. stay out of his range, attack him from the sides, cc him, and interrupt him with your body if you must his passive has saved a lot of games for me. farming top lane and a fight breaks mid, head down, team is all low, im at full they engage at their red side tier one turret (destroyed) and they start to engage on my weak team, i jump in head first and shoot up the tower, covering my team so they can back and pinning them. Also stop going for azir's tower, its like a moth to a flame, woo 100 free gold global, but you are doing nothing as azir sits back and farms under it while you sit around trying to destroy it.

OP? No, but his team fight is AMAZING compared to his laning phase.

Azir has never seen LCS play yet. He was either never patched into te game before the World Finals, or he was not considered worth sinking practice into with such little time for practice before worlds (NA got shafted on this particularly because we got less time than usuall)

His burst and poke are both severely underestimated in my experience.

Yeah he's ridiculously strong and has very few counters. If you ban Zed , there's not a lot people can do against you in lane.
