RIGHTEOUS GLORY Garebear perspective

You know who has a lot of trouble with getting kited? Le Gare Bear Grylls Garen , so when I first saw righteous glory and the idea of it I was excited. However, that mana crystal and valor's reward make him most sad. Also, the ancient coin exists, so why don't we try to be a little bit more original? (I am very well aware that item 3069 and item 3800 are not the same item, but it doesn't mean we should use it as an excuse to not have more variety in active effects.)

So here comes my idea. Instead of a speed boost and item 3010 lets build the glory with item 3140 instead and nerf that speed boost and add a team tenacity boost that immediately is lost when not facing an enemy champ (no abuse from the adcs). Also throw out the cc removal active. Once the qss turns into glory. Also you can throw out the slow at the end too if you want. With this champs like Renekton RekSai Rengar and Garen can feel included. This is just an idea I had milling around and I know there's potential for Irelia to abuse this a whole bunch, but that's why we can discuss it here and add changes to my idea.

Also I have no idea if someone has already come up with this. I'm not trying to copy anyone. Tell me what you think!

i see your point. but im actually pretty statisfied right now.

between the new cleaver, ghostblade and the slow on randuins there are a good amount of movement speed options + the slow to keep people in spin range. pure health items arent very interesting for garen anyways, since you want o build health + resistance items on him to make the most of his courage passive.

often rushing wardens mail or thornmail and then damage can already win you the lane, since he gets 125% resistances (with the 5% mastery) out of those items.

I'm not particularly for or against this change. As a Garen main I would love the speed boost, but I'm not sure I could justify it if the item had magic resist instead of health.

When I face magic damage heavy teams I want my item slots optimized for both magic resist and health. If Righteous Glory kept it's health along with the magic resist from Quicksilver it would have too many stats, and something would have to be nerfed, and if it didn't keep it's health as the new build path would suggest I doubt I'd be able to find room in any but the most specific situations.

It just seems too squishy without the health, and that doesn't strike me as being a good idea for the tanks that usually use this.
