Matchmaking at level 30

So having reached level 30 recently ive been playing loads of ranked, normal and arams. What I have noticed is that ranked is, although ridiculously toxic, the only thing I can play with people even roughly around my skill level. Basically I am getting matched with people with 3000+ games in normal and arams and obviously just getting absolutely battered almost every game as they have played far, far more than me. Ive gone from usually going positive or close in every game to going 3-15 vs platinum and diamond players most games. I understand that the point of ranked is to test your skill against people of a very close level as you, but surely its not intentional to put bronze/silver level players against diamonds and platinums in every other gametype? You might say well then just stick to ranked, but quite honestly I have to be in the right mood for ranked. I don't always fancy being told to kill myself after any tiny error I might make and would like to just play a chilled normal or aram with people who aren't impossibly better and more skilled than I am.

TLDR : The difference between playing at level 29 and 30 is far too big and the game goes from being enjoyably challenging to being utterly un-fun in the space of 1 level.

Also why did I get a warning for using "racial, homophobic, or sexist slurs" when I said nothing even close to any of those things? Confusing.
