Why are Malz's voidlings so much slower and dumber than before?

If you're going to change Malz and focus him entirely around his voidlings the least you could do is not make them worse then they were before. And while we're talking about his voidlings why do they de aggro jungle camps? You tried to make him into a jungler as well before you nerfed the shit outta his jungle the least you could do is let him do things like take rift herald.
