Tips as Kayn specifically

Hey there, I'm a resident Kayn main since his release and I've had more than a small amount of success with him. I've been playing assassins since 2011 and he's the one that just meshes with me the best, and I'm so glad he got released. Thing is though, I need some knowledge help with jungling and macros.

Rhaast is pretty useless as of right now, and he can't live up to being a full bruiser. Even when he's decent to choose, Assassin just seems like the better pick to me, plus he feels much, much more fluid to play than Rhaast because of the shadow-cast on the W. Thing is though, ganking bot can be an issue when they have massive disengage, and most of the time, I feel like I have to pressure Mid and Top anyways, and they're easier ganks for me as well. That, most of the time, gives me Rhaast points.

So, at which point in the game should I be ganking which lanes? I gank bot when I hit 3, but reliably getting SA first tends to not work half the time. I'm fine with base Kayn until 11 minutes and can work then if I'm ahead, but if I'm not, I really need to pick a form by 12 minutes in. Thing is, that's when the form usually unlocks the first time, so if I get Rhaast, I'm stuck waiting for SA 'till 16 minutes in, which is not as great and I'm at my weakest during those 4 minutes.

Any tips on reliably getting SA?

In my experience, Rhaast is in a good spot, though he's a bit more niche to take, as I feel he's only really worth taking when you've got at least 2 tanks/a tank and a juggernaut to deal with, while SA Kayn I feel is in a pretty sweet spot.

I really like taking item 3053 on both forms, and it's pretty good as a lategame item for both forms as far as I've seen, usually gives around 60 something AD up to like 66 AD in the lategame, but the little bit of extra health in addition to the damage goes a long way, but more importantly, the tenacity from lifeline is a huge lifesaver, I can't even count how many times it's gotten me out of a bad situation as SA.

As for getting SA, I usually just get my bar to half off whoever I can, and then focus down heavily on any ranged champs I can, since it's a lot easier to get the full charge at that point.

I've played... too much kayn since his release. I can safely say that Rhaast is viable, but you can also take Dark Harvest, Cinderhulk, and Deadman's, then top it off with a Duskblade, you will rip through both tanks and squishies alike, while having your ult deal 35% max hp, and healing for 25%. Never underestimate a character with a 4 second cooldown AoE 20% max hp dash attack ,that also heals for upwards of 45% damage dealt. The Rhaast W damage is also borderline insane, you can easily heal to 2/3rds your Hp while getting the best hard CC in the game on the enemy team.

You mindset shouldn't be gank x lane at x time, it helps, but its much better to analyze the status of all lanes, and check which would help your team the most. Also, when ganking, keep in mind what Form you think will help your team the most. Sacrificing a gank or 2 is NOT the end of the world, if it means getting a huge power boost earlier into the game.
