Dodging Champ Select (Unintentionally)

So my league client recently crashed twice today and in return i was punished by getting 5 min queue and 15 min queue. While waiting for the 15 min queue I went and took a shower and I thought, "Why doesn't Riot allow a set amount of time for the player to reconnect to the game if they leave during champ select?" It could kinda be like CS:GO's system where you can either reconnect or disconnect from the game given 5 minutes until you are kicked.
