Ranked in Preseason

I have a question. I know I won't get silver rewards or anything. But if I was bronze at the end of season and I get to silver during preseason and the new season starts...will it show that my last season rank was silver? Or will it say bronze because that's what I was before preseason started. Kind of confusing question and how I worded it but I'm just curious!
