Probably unpopular opinion : lifesteal being strong would be a good thing for the metagame

When I think about toplane and botlane of old times, I remember lifesteal as very potent in duelling for bruisers/ ad casters over tanks allowing them not to get destroyed that easily. I think in particular about item 3153 item 3074 . It is good for snowballing a carry in a sololane, as lifesteal can grant you insane pseudo tankiness and potentiality to 1v2, while not being at all overbearing in teamfights, as getting focused destroys you.

Lifesteal as a rush being stronger than pure damage botlane is also somewhat healthy in my opinion. For ranged champions, lifesteal is actually anti-snowballing, which is great because in soloQ botlane is retardedly snowbally and the winning botlane usually decides the game. Having lifesteal as an optimal rush would not only reduce snowballing there, it would delay the core damage build and ad carries would have a healthier power curve that doesn't spike at freaking 15 min.

I however suppose that to make BT or botrk rush good, the alternatives should probably be nerfed (rageblade harder to stack on ranged, zeal items and IE more costly). I also think item 3076 is terrible to the metagame as it destroys people's potentiality to carry (here sustain carries), and little by little with such things, we go in the meta we are today, where you can't carry and you are dependent on who's bad in your team, more than who's good.

If you need a changelist, I'd probably do : Botrk : lifesteal upped to 15% from 12 Ravenous hydra : lifesteal upped to 15% from 12 Rageblade : price reduced by 200, stacks required for ranged upped to 8 (AD/AS per stack rescaled to match melees at max stacks) Zeal : price increased by 50 (total 1250) Infinity edge : price increased by 200 (total 3600) Runaan's, Rapidfire, Statikk : price increased by 150 Phantom dancer : price increased by 150 Bloodthirster : 80 AD -> 60 AD Lifesteal 20% -> 15% New unique passive : Killing a unit grants the bloodthirster +1 AD, stacks up to +30 and +0.3% lifesteal, stacks up to +9% (total stacked -> 90 AD and 24% lifesteal) Shield passive : removed

I mean, draintanking isn't even a bad thing compared to hypercarries at already 15 min that are protected anyway due to ultrasafe kits and additional support protection, who are in a really good spot. And the counters to draintanking are there everywhere. Ignite, bramble, thornmail, morello's, executioner's calling... There might even be too much counters.
