@Riot can we have ANY info about heimer? (+ my thoughts)

After multiple post and tries in EUW forums to catch the attention from Riot, just to get any information about Heimer. It only seems to me they dont watch gameplay board there. I will try my luck in NA Boards.

I OTP Heimer with 485k mastery points in EUW and I can say that Heimer is only strong champion when enemy has no idea how he works and just run into his turrets to die. But after getting into Diamond league you can't do nothing useful anymore as people know how he works and they can just 2 shot his turrets at lvl 1 and completely destroy champion by not letting him set up his core mechanic. It's like having permablind on autoattack champions.

Q-H-28G Evolution Turret range sits at 450 champions that have lower range than that are: Karthus 450 He can just q spam to destroy turrets. Vladimir 450 He can Q turrets to either 1 shot or 2 short, depends on if his q is empowered. Plus he has good sustain. Morgana 450 She has passive spell vamp and tormented soil to get rid of them and any minions near them. Thresh 450 doubt he is gonna fight heimer 1 v 1 as a support. Urgot 425 He can Acid Hunter that has range of 1000/1200, but haven't seen that champion for ages. Graves 425 End of line or goodluck doing anything after he gets Death's Dance. Gnar 400 free spammable boomerang.

alot of marksman's buy item 3085 now and that just one shots ur turrets in teamfights. Or when going up agains't melee they just rush item 3155 and item 3211.

All other ranged champions have higher range to deal with Heimer turrets without getting damaged from their Autoattacks.

There are plenty of melee champions that can deal with his turrets by using their Q skill to deal with them. But there are too many of them so I'm not gonna type them all out, sorry about that.

MonkeyKing can jump in with his E, then Q and AA for thunderlord's proc to deal about 50% of Heimers HP and then just use decoy to get out without getting damage. Aatrox he has really strong sustain + he can q ur turrets for free damage Gangplank he can shoot parrley Irelia Just buys item 3057 and she can 1 shot ur turrets with Q.

I can't remember when Heimer last got a buff/balance, currently riot keeps nerfing core items that he has to build to be viable: Rylai AP/HP nerf & making Banner of Command into tank item from the AP item.

Now lets take a look at his skill

Techmaturgical Repair Bots RANGE: 1000

Heimerdinger grants nearby allied champions and his H-28G Evolution Turret.png turrets 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 health regeneration, persisting for 5 seconds after they move out of range or his death.

Even he dosen't get the hp regen from his passive

Ideas for a new passive : Some kind of mobility as he has no escape abilitys. Ability to heal towers with CD. If Ziggs can destroy them at 25% and Azir can make new towers, why cant Heimer heal them ?

Something like Gangplank or Viktor where he can upgrade his skills with either gold or scrap metal he gets from towers, minions and champion kills. atleast that fits with his lore more.

H-28G Evolution Turret

As so many people can destroy them that fast maybe lower the recharge time a bit as it currently has 24 / 23 / 22 / 21 / 20

Maybe give turrets higher hp scaling or make it scale with heimer stats.

Give them a little magic pene shred max 25 or make it scale with attack damage. it would make some interesting builds.

Another option is when ur turrets die, they will deal AoE damage around him.

Lower the damage that Area of effect skills deal to them by 20 -30%

remove the** Incoming damage modifier** 40% increased damage from melee champion basic attacks

Make the beam attack Cooldown go down with ur CD Reduction.

Hextech Micro-Rockets

ACTIVE: Heimerdinger unleashes a wave of 5 rockets that converge to the target location and fan beyond it up to a maximum range, with each rocket dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits. INITIAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 45% AP) Enemies can be hit by multiple rockets, with each one beyond the first dealing 20% damage against champions and monsters.

This seems okay to me at the moment

CH-2 Electron Storm Grenade

ACTIVE: Heimerdinger hurls a grenade at the target location, dealing magic damage upon impact to all nearby enemies and Slow icon slowing them by 35% for 2 seconds.

Now this skill. Maybe up the projectile speed and the radius of the stun. Because good luck hitting it against he champions with any mobility

UPGRADE!!!

ACTIVE: Heimerdinger empowers his next basic ability, placing it on the same cooldown as its basic form, modifying its damage and making it free to cast.

After Heimerdinger has had UPGRADE!!! active for 3 seconds without using another ability, he can reactivate it to cancel the empowerment and put it on a 3-second static cooldown. UPGRADE!!! only goes on its normal cooldown if Heimerdinger uses an empowered ability.

Give his ulitmate separate cooldown from his normal skills. and up the hp on his ult tower as it is stationary ult and it dies so fast in fights from aoe skills.

SKIN IDEAS

I can't even remeber the last time he got a skin. so here are skin ideas for him, feel free to make them true or making them into pictures as I suck at drawing...

Buccaneer Heimer- His turrets are little cannons, ult tower can be triple barreled. He can wear Captain's hat and has a wooden leg where 1 of his walking animation can be him limping.

Gardner Heimer- Turrets are plants, he is wearing dirty overall and a straw hat

Zombie Heimer- Turrets are zombie hands that come out of ground and throw dirt at enemys, Heimerdinger head can be cracked open giving us a look at his big brain.

Poolparty Heimer- Turrets are waterguns


BUGS

I have posted these bugs already in the correct board but might as well type them here too, as it's post about the Donger.

Whenever Heimer gets hit by channel abilty it shows his ultimate is activated, even when he is not level 6 yet. that mostly makes me use the normal skill thinking it's gonna be UPGRADE!!! version, but for my dissapointment i only wasted my chance to get a kill or get away from enemy.

another one is that turrets lock on the enemy that are out of radios and they keep shooting at them showing their aprox location.

Maybe it's only an animation or it's and bug but sometimes when my ult turret shoots champions and they run out of the range of turret, they dont get damaged by the AA that was already shot by the turret. And sometimes it just sits there not attacking champions and only farming minions.

His problem is mostly: When he's strong, he's an uber-lane-pushing monster.

Turrets are great for clearing waves. Rockets are great for clearing waves. Turrets don't go away over time. Turrets can target structures. A stun-on-a-stick to peel any would-be gankers. He has a massive Hp5 stat for no reason. He also heals nearby champions, making sieges very difficult to deal with.

You would have to take away power from his turrets, rework his passive, and take away his Hp5 before he could become both viable and healthy.

Definitely think Heimerdinger could use a tune up. That being said I don't feel he is as weak as OP makes Heimerdinger out to be.

Really the only changes I would love to see would be in his passive and ultimate.

Something different and unique of than regeneration would be great. Just give the turret hp regeneration to the Q turret as a passive.

I think a lot of utility and options could be created from having the ultimate UPRGADE!!! refresh the cooldown of all abilities. This would allow for double stuns with grenades, perhaps more turret(s) out, and A LOT of burst damage with rockets.

In all I feel Heimerdinger is a niche pick and should be kept that way, but a slight number tuning definitely wouldn't hurt.

he needs an UPGRADE!!

Turrets scale with heimer stats now, including ap, ad, hp armor/mr

His ult now gets changed with his ult + Q he can built H-28Q Apex Tank

drains mana to maintain and while in tank form he can use R again to go back to normal and he can utilize different abilities in tank form

he now can move around and basic attack with high powered splash damage attacks

His Q shoots the big laser

his W enables rocket powered engine giving a large decaying speedboost

his E grants storm shield protects against incoming projectiles by reducing their damage

R reverts back to normal

haven't thought about the other UPGRADES yet but im fairly certain my crazy mind will come up with shit soon enough

He seems a bit overtuned at the moment. His scalings should be tuned down a bit imuho.

Hhm...... What if they made it so his turrets work differently. Instead of it just plopping down a weak turret it would instead generate a turret with power between that of his current ones and his ult turret. This would be his default Q, BUT, if he uses his Q within the radius of the large turret (It would also be a pretty large radius) then it would instead put down a weak turret that's like his current ones except without the laser.

Hhm.... well my idea was to give him a stronger turret that wouldn't just get oneshot but now I've lost my train of thought...

This definitely needs some visibility. I'm also a huge Heimer fan, he is my favourite champ in the whole game, but his passive (and maybe his ult) need tuning. His passive makes 0 sense with his lore, and I think it would be so much better if some of the ideas the OP mentioned were taken into account. His ulti changes would depend on the passive, but I also feel like a CD reset on his abilities, or at least W and E, would make him so much more valuable due to the extra utility and CC he could provide. I also confirm all the bugs, the turret shooting out of range showing enemy location one is pretty huge and needs fixing. About the skins, all of them are awesome, I would especially like gardener and pool party, but he definitely needs a skin which changes the particles on W, E and turret attacks. Thanks for the thread, I hope someone from RIOT reads it and gives us some info!
