What I like and don't like about Dynamic Queue
I played solo all of last season. This season, I've played a little bit of premades, so I've had some time in both queues. This is what I do, and don't, like about Dynamic Q (plus some suggestions at the end).

You can play with a lot of friends. Yes, I, and many people, enjoy this. You can be in a call with people you like playing with and talk, joke around, and honestly have a good time. In my opinion these premades are meant for a good time, but people abuse them to tryhard.

Role selecting. You can have the role you want without worrying about calling or getting lucky with pick order. I can set up my runes and masteries for those two roles and am prepared a lot better.

Team vs. Team. When you have a group of 5 vs. a group of 5, it's that much more intense. Everyone is playing more coordinated, and team fights are the most hype thing ever. It feels like your own personal proplay game.

It's abused. Solo queue was simple enough where it was pretty hard to abuse and take advantage of it, but with DQ there are too many variables to cover when it comes to working the system. People don't use it for its intent, the use it to boost themselves, oust the possibility of "trolls", and can hope for a team of solos that will go up against their premade.

It doesn't have the ability to be accurate. Solo queue, like I said, was simple, and could rank your skill fairly well. With DQ, however, there are too many premades and mix of teams to accurately do that. There is no distinction of solo players vs team players, which is something that is very important and SoloQ/Teambuilder did well.

It's not enough of an option. For the sake of this thread, I'm going to say that the implementation of DQ is what put SQ on hold. Because of that, there isn't enough options for players when it comes to ranked. You can't just merge solo queue and team ranked.
Summary: I like Dynamic Queue, I really do. It had such a good idea with making people be able to team up with a lot of people in different scenarios. But it isn't practical for ranked. At all. It's too intricate and tries to merge too many types of ranked play for it to be accurate or not be abused.
The way it was implemented wasn't done right, and now it's hard to fix because there is a lot of pressure from people getting extremely angry. These boards posts aren't helping. Riot knows our opinion. They know what we are thinking. But as a company it's hard to make decisions for the better of everyone when one group (the boards) is literally trying to mob them and beat them down.
DQ is fine, but not for ranked. It should be used in normals, where people can chill out and use it the right way. Have Dynamic Queue the normal queue type, and both Solo Queue and Ranked Teambuilder for ranked. Hell, if you want, you can revamp the visuals for the two ranked queues in the wonderful Riot way, because the new champion select is great.
This is the first and only post I'm going to make about this, because this boards is already sick and tired of people doing it.
