Obvious Cheating (And a keyboard glitch)

I'm going to try and make a short and strong point on something I noticed in game: third party influences. I only started playing this game in perhaps the end of January, which by the way I am addicted (proud top laner), and the experience seems a little off. I can give you opinions first, but I rather provide something relatable before I tie in my argument.

If a team is losing, their objectives are to hold lanes or push mid. Any smart team would change strategy and avoid aggressive play if it obviously isn't suiting them. With that said, my first point is that there are players with auto player scripts. In several matches I've been in, there was incooperation and excessive feeding by a player whose actions were questionable and an understatement to call "noobish". I could be going on a limb, but if a player sees their name and champion's name asked or talked to and if there are pings with warnings in chat, whether muted or not wouldn't there be some sense to act based off common sense? Rhetorical, but that hits one of my points.

My second point is that there can be massive bots acting as one unit. In a match I played in, I kid you not, we won in under 15 minutes in the Summoner's Rift. Doing my examinations, matches are expected between 30-45 minutes long for farming and battles. A 15 minute win is either a professional level victory or something is terribly unbalanced in the experience. I hadn't even known about masteries fully and I was using only Tier 2 runes as a level 12 ( it may've been higher since I've been madly playing to reach level 30 to look into Beta and Tribunal for some effort in solving cheating), but the thing is that if my team was all newer players how could we secure a win so easily? The players names seemed all too similiar from a writers perspective, we rekt every turret we face, and worst of all they all went mid. If that isn't enough reason for you, than consider this: if three are protecting mid while five push mid at the beginning of the match and two turrets fall, do you push even though you haven't scratched the enemy turret or do you continue feeding the enemy?

I had to call it out because it wasn't just odd, but bland. I rather lose than win unfairly and I know there was something off about this. I am still knew to these sorts of games and finding a way to give my experience after a month of play isn't satisfied with one tab asking me for a single click poll. (FYI: That poll, in my opinion, is useless unless you seize player opinions instead of simply letting them click a single button. What should be done is giving a setting function in the game to give detailed feedback, unless I missed this feature then please tell me how to use that function in the responses I may or may not recieve.)

Thirdly, I want to question the cheats I've experienced in game. It can become obvious to see a player hitting you with spells the moment you hit his range with consecutive, perfect accuracy. This can be argued as just being a professional at the mechanics if the player wasn't just popping out of jungle or unforseen areas. Yes, players in a game I participated noticed these sorts of things. Personally, I did not see no such things because I don't examine the attacks I recieved unless I am dying, but that is because I prefer tank wise methods. The noteable complaint was from a Jihn champion (or that purple wizard. Varus? Idk, just know it was a ranged champion because I know my team in this round wasn't hitting like I was) who experienced immediate deaths at the hands of a Xerath (whose mechanics require aiming and timed attacks). I'd be contradicting myself in argument if I hadn't earlier brought up the element of surprise, a big advantage in league of legends for Summoner's Rift.

[P.S: I also want to state that my keyboard(s) (I play using two) was incapable of playing spells or anything except chat.]

Wow...that wasn't short at all...oh, and if you agree with me than please see to it that this is bumped up? Idk, I skimmed some of these posts and I guess they need to get supported to get viewed?

Nothing you said here leads me to believe that you were a victim of third party support. Rather, you played with and against skilled people, and possibly smurfs.

You're still new to the game, so I would wait until you know more about how each champion works before you cry wolf.

Welcome to League of Legends! It's a game well worth learning so I hope you enjoy it.

I expect you will get a lot of hostility for your post, and for that I am sorry. I'll explain why and offer some helpful advice.

  1. Game Length / All Mid.

You're new to the game so try to with-hold judgment. 15 minute games are only really unlikely at higher levels of play, but at lower levels of play, you will see more extreme cases, usually because of huge mistakes. Some games will end early due to vast skill differences, or due to strategies that can work, but are not often used, as an example, putting all 5 players mid and just going straight for the nexus.

In higher level games this usually does not work, because the player in the mid, usually with assistance of the jungler and possibly support, know how to hold out against this, meanwhile, huge CS/Tower advantages are gained in the other lanes by carries. However, at lower levels of play people do not really know how to use the turret for advantage, or how to CS. This means the other lanes tend to act poorly and the all mid can work and end games quickly. It's not viable once people know what they are doing, etc. But it can work at lower levels of play.

15 minute games happen when one team makes many many mistakes that are exploited by the other team. A failure to properly respond to an all mid will end the game fast. Properly responding makes it almost certain that the other side loses the game, which is why few people do the all mid thing.

  1. Similar Names

Many times friends will make a bunch of low level accounts and play together. These can be very experienced players who just want to beat up new players, or they can be actual new players who all want matching names as part of their group. Experienced players who make other accounts are called "smurfs". After a few games, they tend to get removed from the real beginner population, and they get matched with other players who are mostly like them.

For new players, they will probably stay around you, and their strategy will not work long term. But don't assume they are bots, it's more likely that they are just a bunch of people playing a new account for kicks.

  1. Cheats / Hitting You With Everything

You are a new player and are not yet skilled at the game. Many people reach level 30 and are still not skilled at the game. Some of the players who you are with are likely very skilled and landing all of their abilities can seem like magic. However, it's really just experience and practice. When I compare how I was at landing skillshots at level 12 with how I am now, it's incredible.

You and other new players are also learning how to dodge, but most new players are very predictable and are going to get hit by me with every single ability nearly every single time. And I'm just gold (well, silver 1 right now, but I was gold the last two seasons). Actual, real, level 12-29 players are very easy to crush totally and in a way that will feel frustrating or unfair to them.

But that's not a cheat. And honestly, very few people would waste cheating/scripting on unranked play. Usually people who script are trying to climb to diamond and beyond, because it is not worth getting investigated and possibly banned on all accounts, just to win normal games.

I could probably play against you and you would feel entirely helpless and get destroyed the entire time. That's because I have put a lot of time into this game and you're still new. For example, in one game on a new account I got 45 kills. My team had 49 kills total, so all but 4 kills were made by me. I penta'd the other team twice and then stood in their base killing them. The account quickly got removed from playing with new players, so everything was fine after that, but that game they must have thought I was cheating or something.

  1. General Advice

Don't take normal games too seriously. Also, look up real builds for your champions, so you have an idea of what items/roles your champion plays. Toplane Bard with a Runaan's would be considered trolling in most level 30 games. Go to champion.gg and you'll see some viable builds.
