Yasuo Rework Ideas

EVERYONE has had both of these scenarios. Scenario A, Yasuo is in your game, and has more kills than the rest of both teams combined. Scenario B, Yasuo has more deaths than the rest of both teams combined. Rarely does he run the line between carry and feeder. However, that is his only real balance I have found. I have thought of a list of 10 or so nerfs/changes to leave his skillful carry kit together, while scrapping some of his raw power in terms of high damage and tons of defensives. All of these would ruin Yasuo completely, but any combination of them would really help reduce his power, but let him still do his job.

First off, he has one of the strongest 2 item spikes in the game. A solid nerf to this could very well be making it a ramping passive, giving +50% crit over the course of leveling. This would make his mid game more manageable and if he gets ahead he wont simply blow you apart. Another change to his passive could be removing his shield or making it off of damage dealt to build it instead of moving. This would mean he cant just run in circles and not die. Or he can only pop the shield while below a health threshold, or my favorite, he can only have it activated when he has dealt damage to a champion in the last 1-3 seconds.

A second change could be to his W, his Windwall. With it sitting in a spot you can dodge way more that it should. A fair way to balance it would be add a much lower cool down, but make it more like a blocking Riven ultimate. He casts it in a direction and it sweeps out, blocking everything on its way out but not lasting long. Reduce the cool down by half or more, and now it is for blocking CC but he can no longer use it as a block wall, dropping it and then dashing from side to side to maximize its effectiveness.

A final ability change would be to his E. A lot of times it is used for dodging, but currently Yasuo already has so many tools to protect himself. My personal favorite is reducing the cooldown per target by a lot, but possibly reducing his own armor/magic resist OR simply increasing the damage he takes. This would mean he can use it to dodge a lot more, but at the same time, it has a drawback if he is simply dashing left and right. I personally like to use it for killing minions, so it could also not add a stack if you kill the target with E or with a EQ combo. This would mean Yasuo can dash around, but it adds more a skill requirement to how you use it, and by simply dashing from target to target does not come with no consequences.

I hope that he gets some balancing because he is a very unique champion that is a blast to play and sometimes ever to play against, but better Yasuo players learn to abuse his kit and ruins the experience of a game because there is an unstoppable force it seems like.
