hold shift to plan path

please riot, let us hold shift or ult or something when clicking to store commands to path by, I'm tired of looking at the map, clicking where I think is the shorts path to a destination also alligned with safest path, look away for a split second and all of a sudden I'm in the wrong place and then a dead place.
