I was testing garen on training >> his w grants up to 30 armor and mr at rank 1 at rank 5 it does exactly the same thing i stopped gaining xp and had 30 armor and mr lvl 1 4 useless levels of w wth riot .. have u run out of ideas or something . why do i even have to level up this useless w once i get my 30 armor and mr . i wont even be bothering pressing ctrl.
the duration goes up with rank.

Given his core items are Black Cleaver and tank items with cdr, 40% is very doable on Garen.
doesnt it grant more resistance on the active along with increased duration?

Well i have found that the cd goes down by 1 sec every rank and the duration of reduction goes up by 1 sec every rank 24 sec cd /2 sec duration/ lvl 1 20 sec cd/6 sec duration /lvl 5 not satisfying at all ..
