Rengar's Snare
If he's an auto attack based champ whose Q is his main source of damage, why does his snare do so much damage?

Damage rotations?
50-250 + 0.7 Bonus AD is fairly standard damage for most spells, even utility spells. Yes, there are exceptions - but from the numbers I see on the wiki, 50-250 is well within the range of normal.
Keep in mind that the Empowered E is a single-target skillshot that consumes all of Rengar's ferocity: if he wants to snare you, then he's giving up on the bonus damage from his Q or the heal from his W.
