Yorick: The Forgotten Champion

As of late, even Swain has gotten some topside recognition of his existence, even if it was for a negative reason. Karthus is also getting some sun lately too, if for the same reason as Swain did. Mordekaiser gets threads for extremely dedicated players. (lookin' at you Malicious Metal you keep doin' you) Jax, Yasuo, and others brought back into power from the recent changes get a front page post literally every single day. Wards get posts, AP items get posts, mastery trees get posts, even the f*cking Ohmwrecker gets a post occasionally. But what about the forgotten character of the League? Who has been off the champion free roster for actual years now?

I'm talking about . You... you probably saw from the title. Was probably gonna mention it at some point. But getting back on topic, Yorick is the OFFICIAL forgotten champion of the League of Legends. Myself and the other three people who play him can summarize the basic experience of playing as pick him, go to the top lane, and have the enemy have no idea what to do or how to deal with you. It isn't even a joke anymore. People have actually never seen him before. And yet Riot is not really doin' a lot about it. I mean, I love Riot to death I really do. But it gets to a point where I wonder if they even remember the Gravedigger. I remember when he was promised a rework a while ago. And I emphasize a while ago very heavily. I know he's probably next in line for a rework, (at least I hope so) but I can't help but feel so many have actually forgotten him. Which is sad and ironic, as this is exactly what his worst nightmare was. Being forgotten.
