Is there a possibility for risk = reward items?
Basically items that based on how much risk you put yourself in, will return an equal amount of reward in terms of stats.
For example, an item that based on distance you are attacking from (obviously this would be ranged only), would scale its AD damage stat. So at say 250 units or under, you would gain +70 AD from that item, but at 600+ units you would only gain +40 AD.
This would make players have to choose between more safety or more power. Other things could be factors as well besides range such as amount of health on a tankier melee champion or how much movement speed you have. Maybe if you are shielded or recently healed could be factors too.
