Match Queuing, and why it is Physically Painful

Something seems a little off about that matchup. Usually, when the queue decides to put me (a level nineteen) with players of such high skill it at least attempts to balance it by throwing a level thirty or two in with me as well. In this case and many others, it seems to have forgotten that step. Even with the attempt at balancing teams, however, the odds of those players laning against each other are slim, which leads to a lane or two being smashed. I realize that the reason I'm being put with these higher level players is because they're partying with players closer to my skill level, but that doesn't make up for it.

What I would really like to see, something that would make the game more enjoyable for me personally, is a solo queue option. I can appreciate people wanting to play with their lower level friends, but nearly every match I get set up against somebody so ridiculously more skilled than me that not only do I lose the match by a long shot, but I am not given the opportunity to improve.

Okay, rant over. Guess I'll try to play another match...

Leveling to 30 inflates your normal mmr since rito assumes players actually new to the game won't be playing summoners rift pvp and if they do that they will lose to the smurfs. So let's say you just leveled to 19 from playing bots. You just increased your mmr on summoners rift. So if you win a summoners rift game and level up you just inflated your mmr. If you continue to play summoners rift as you level to 30 and you win half your games your normal mmr will end up at plat-diamond normal mmr.
