I want to one trick one of them in top and mid lane, who do yall thing is the strongest by far in the meta right now?

If you pick Zed, don't show your face around here ever again. Please.
Zed is generally very strong. Right now he's not busted, but strong nonetheless. He also has much more potential if you put the time into learning him and getting super good at him.
kennen is way stronger
he is a lot more safe and easy to play then zed and has constant rewards unlike zed who can get cucked by a lot.
dont listen to the boards nonsense about zed being super OP.
he's strong with good itemization path rn but kennen by far will be the easier climb

Complaints about is because of his 1 (or 2 targets if fed) damage burst, but after that he can't really do anything (well an assassin ya know)
As others said, I'd advise you to go for Kennen
