@Riot Lets talk about Ranked Play
I wanted to make a post discussing ranked play for those that are Diamond and below. Since the introduction of dynamic queue, much of the ranked play discussion has been about the upper tiers of play (Diamond, Masters and Challenger) and trying to fix the obvious gameplay inequalities that have come since dynamic queue. I feel that Riot has done a decent job at addressing the lack of competitive integrity at those levels of play, but for the majority of the player base (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Unranked) ranked has been otherwise untouched and Riot has had a "we are trying to fix it, but deal with it for now" type attitude. There has been absolute radio silence on the issue even though there are some issues involving competitive integrity and general QoL stuff that's been ignored since the introduction of the ranked system from the elo system. I don't like laundry lists, but i wanted to make a list of things that affect the the majority of your ranked player base (98%).

Dynamic queue has ruined ranked integrity. Playing ranked as a solo player is horrible. Dynamic queue allows for games to be heavily favored because it forces the system to try and "equalize" the game by compensating the skill of the opposing team to face the obviously better equipped communicative team. There needs to be serious changes to dynamic queue and its system or outright removal.

While its nice that we get a free win if we re-enter a series, it feels horrible getting 90-99 lp and only getting 10-1 LP respectively when you've been getting 19-23 LP per win, only to lose the series and go back down to potentially 50 points. The player is losing potentially 10 LP or more because he/she was "unlucky" and got to 99 LP. Possible solution would be to use those extra league points that aren't used to get into your series, to be tacked on if you win your series you can start with that number. For example I have 99 LP, i win and get 19 LP, I win the next two games and advance to the next league with 18 LP now instead of 0.

MMR rating is really not clear at all. for example I'm currently Gold 2, one game I will be matched with Plat 5 and 4 players, which I'm fine with as I'm trying to climb to Platinum, but then some games I'm matched with Gold 5/Silver 1 players and to make matters worse, I'll be playing AGAINST Plat 5/4 players. There is a full league difference in skill in one game, that's not fun to play with and its not fun to play against. It undermines competitive integrity and you feel outmatched and out of control in your ranked games.

Boosting is a serious issue and its only been exacerbated by Dynamic Queue. Players that were silver past season and the season previous are now magically Plat 5? No, I don't buy that. Plat 5 is a cesspool of boosted players who obviously did not earn their ranking. I check after every game when i suspect a player was boosted, only to see a Dynamic queue badge next to their profile. It's infuriating and frustrating to have these boosted players play in an elo that they don't deserve
What are the plans for ranked changes this next season? Will these changes address the aforementioned issues? I want to discuss possible solutions and any ranked issues that you might have (the player base) that I forgot to mention or that you feel need some QoL work for this upcoming season. I really want season 7 to fix a lot of the ranked issue and bring back the competition that I once loved when I started playing the game in late season 2.
