Will a S5 gold account have the same placement patterns as a S8 gold account?

I have an account that was gold back in S5, but havent played ranked on it ever since. I want to start using it again. As we all know, if an account was gold in S8, the placements in S9 will be around gold. Will it be the same for the S5 gold account? Or will the account have new-account mmr due to such a long period of inactivity?
