My opinion: It doesn't make sense to me why he doesn't get magic resist per level, i mean he is a tree made from arcane magic (something like that lol) it would make sense if he developed magic resistance through using arcane magic, write your thoughts below about if you agree or disagree.

because he's already strong as crap and tends to stay out of nuke range for a long while till he's putting the beatdown on you. It wouldn't do anything except make it easier for him to build damage and go mid.
scaling mr would thematically fit, but balancewise he definitly shouldn'T get any buffs atm, and his passive kinda covers theme
He has built in sustain and % damage reduction. As much as I love the tree, no.
He already has a relationship with magic, he absorbs it in order to get health with the passive. Also, gameplay > sense, always.
I think tanks were designed with the whole Anti-AD thing going. More of their power budget is placed towards surviving (as in lasting a meaningful amount of time) vs. AD carries as opposed to AP carries. I mean do characters like Maokai and Singed really have problems with getting bursted down by anyone not named Veigar or Syndra?
