@Meddler @Riot Could you consider a small change for Thresh?
Overall, Thresh currently boasts one of the highest pick rates among all champions and has a healthy win rate when taking that into consideration (as well as his learning curve). But as a person who absolutely loves to play Thresh, I feel like he could use one small change that, without affecting his support play style at all, could allow him to become viable in another role without being overbearing. And I'm talking about Jungle.
Now, the change I'm proposing, is to make his Flay do 50% bonus damage to monsters. Now here me out, I feel as though this would be the only change necessary to make Thresh viable as a jungler. His ganking potential is already relatively strong, with two CC abilities and his lantern to help with dives. However, the current piece keeping Thresh from jungling is an abyssmal clear rate especially in the early game. His basic attacks do decent enough damage, but his only AoE damage ability for jungle clear is quite weak. It would also force a jungle Thresh to want to max out his E if he wants to continue clearing the jungle with any decency, so that his Q won't be at lower cooldowns for more consistent and powerful early ganks. The best part is, he is still outclassed by other junglers since his scaling to late game isn't the best, so he would be fitting a niche where he wouldn't be pick or ban, and any time he is picked up in jungle it would help add more variety to the support role again since, obviously, he can't be picked for that match.
Any thoughts?
