Why does Ornn have a 110% Bonus AD Ratio on his Q equivalent to Talon Q?

Not like this champ builds AD so why does he need his Q to be overloaded to the point it's equivalent to an actual assassin?

Because he has no AD ratios anywhere else in his kit, while Talon has an additional 455% bAD ratio across the rest of his abilities.

The other reason is so that the ability, when building AD, doesn't get outscaled by Ornn's auto attacks.

Talon Q also has 165% AD scaling when cast at close range, but I suppose considering that wouldn't support the narrative you're trying to spin.

Luckily that narrative can be disproven even ignoring the extra scaling on the ability.

Vi Q has a 140% bAD ratio, far more than "an actual assassin," while her E scales with 110% TOTAL AD. Oh dear, what an overloaded champion.

Poppy Q has a 180% bAD ratio, my my, so overloaded. Now nevermind that damage is split across two delayed hits and compromises her ability to tank by building AD, she has so much stronger of a ratio than an actual assassin.

Tryndamere spin has a 130% bAD ratio Illaoi tentacles have a 120% total AD ratio Jhin traps 120% tAD Kled Q 180% bAD, E 120% bAD Jinx E 160% tAD Ashe Q 100% tAD Gnar Q 115% tAD, Mega Q 140% tAD Sion Q up to 225% tAD

The game is full of non-assassins, tanks even, with AD ratios, and using the one assassin with a multiple abilities with AD scaling as a comparison to a champion who's only AD scaling comes from a single ability is disingenuous at best and malicious at worst.

It's not a bonus AD ratio, it's a total AD ratio.

The ability is structured in the way it is so that he gains damage on it gradually over the course of the game, rather then having it all coming in via the base damage, which could make his poke or waveclear overbearing. The ability starts out at 20 base damage and gains only 100 by ranking it up compared to the usual 80 - 280 (so you get only a little over 80 damage at level one after the ad is factored in, which is typical for most abilities), and via the ad ratio scales up.

See Mordekaiser for another example of this in action. Rather then having all his damage on his Q coming in from ranks (which would make his early levels much stronger) a lot of it is gated by his levels, but it keeps his damage relevant without having to sink as much gold into offensive stats. In theory at least, morde has some practical issues there due to surrounding itemisation.

why did/does tryn have an absurd ap scale on his e? why did yi have an absurd ap scale on his q? rengar on his w shyvana still on her e

this is motherfucking rito shames we are talking about they are fucking idiots and give champs insanely braindead scales even tho they'll never build those items naturally.

they never learned and never will learn.

Your post contradicts itself. You say his q is overloaded, but start the post by saying the champ doesn't build AD. So is it overloaded? Does the ratio matter if he doesn't build AD???
