Mark is really good for aram. It gives champions that were unviable (mostly melee tanks or bruisers, or squishy assassins) to actually partake in initiation or getting a chance to be apart of the game. The spell has good counter play because of how slow it travels. So, people who get stuck with rammus, volibear, singed after feel relevant but even udyr. The problem I experience time and time again is the enemies would always have vast amounts of cc such as slows, roots, stuns. etc. which made initiating impossible and completely ruined the opportunity for those champions to be viable in the gamemode. I normally am against mobility but everyone knows that feeling of getting udyr and face palming because you knew you were 90% of the time useless to your team. It's also good for champions that already did fine with flash but relied heavily on flash so were truly useful only 4 times a match. (5 mins per flash ish avg game 20 mins)

My only complaint on mark is the cool down is ridiculously low. Mark serves as an offensive summoner ability that should probably land in the 45 second to 1 min cool down area. The enemy should not be bombarded by mark endlessly. It should not be a skill you throw around hoping to hit somebody just so you go in. It should be planned and executed as if you were using a longer cool down summoner spell. Mark is valuable for initiation, assassinating, and all over just catching up to an enemy. It should be used in it's most valuable uses. Not tossed around because the cool down is low. That's my only problem. Usually I am really upset with changes riot implements but this is actually something that was much needed and healthy for aram. Really impressed now please nerf the damage a bit and increase the cool down.

As an avid lover of ARAM I find the changes to be pretty obnoxious. I predominantly used ARAM for a more fun version of mechanical practice with a side of solidifying builds and champions I haven't mastered. However, snowball champs literally snowball harder. Good luck kiting and fighting Yi Q type invulnerability frames. It might be bearable if they change the cooldown to be the same as flash. I'm honestly just going to avoid this mode until they change they patch it. If I wanted to care nothing about core gameplay, I would go play dominion.

URF is fucking boring.

Finally I stand a chance against the ARAM only accounts where people only have poke champs and ADCs purchased. TY based Rito for the snowballs.

please....take....away...the....snowballs...

As with all updates they'll have to take a look at the fallout and make changes. Right now there are some obnoxious champions when equipped with a 20 second cooldown mark. Increase the CD and you might get a chance for some counterplay. When you have to itemize to specifically counter a single champion you've already lost half the game.

The mark has made certain champions the new 'god' tier of aram. Galio with mark is the kind all others fall before him. Alister, mum, thresh, leona, hell even a skarner are now the most powerful aram champions. God-forbid you are a squishey that gets hit by one.. you are dead 110%. Riven doesn't give no F**ks if you run to your team. She'll get atleast 2 kills then flash away. Mark with flash is just toxic. Like rito be trolling us or something.

In the unlikely event that anyone reads/cares about this post amongst the sea of millions, alternatives to #meltit would be a) making it magic damage, not true, since damage isn't really the point, b) making it thus susceptible to various spell/debuff shields, c) increasing the cooldown, and d) decreasing the range to say a blitz grab or slightly more. It certainly shouldn't be able to hit people that aren't even on your screen.
