vayne needs to be fixed

remember when vayne was THE late game carry? the tank shredding monster? the flashy playmaker who could kite for days and dps hard if you played it right and used your tumble to dodge important skillshots? something like this?

now look at her. easily lane dominant with the right supports. barely needs 2 items item 3087 item 3031 to kill you in 4 autos. can get out of nearly any situation because of how stupidly easy kiting is with tumble and 2 zeal items + invis. game is over once she hits 2 or 3 items because she essentially becomes an assassin who can dps like an adc after they burst who also scales like a monster into late game. can go full burst and still OBLITERATE tanks with a last item item 3124. something like these?

and before some fedoralord vayne main comes in here and tells me "BUT SHE IS HARD XDDDDDDDDDDDDD" no, kiting isnt hard(especially with the bonus ms and tumble), using q to reset auto timer is muscle memory you can learn in an hour, and dodging shit with tumble isnt really that crazy, that shit is on like a 2 second cooldown and makes you invis

I mean in this vid you still see vayne 3 AA the squishes then shread the tanks. Pretty much same as live.

I think the problem with Vayne is she has so much attack speed growth in conjunction with her high damage with the crit build that she can just mow down everyone. She used to be played on-hit with bork and stuff back when they had lots of attack speed on them so I imagine that's why she initially had that high attack speed growth but honestly I think now she could stand to lose it if they wanna keep her crit build alive. Level 18 Vayne with NO items gets 1.24 attack speed. That's already half the cap. With just a PD, Guinsoos, and shiv she already has 2.16 attack speed, and that's with only 3% from the alacrity rune and the guinsoos not being charged. Jinx without her passive at level 18 has .86 attack speed and with the same items has 1.74 attack speed. That's a HUGE difference. Again, I think the reason for this was originally because she used on-hit builds mostly back then, and now she's using a burst crit build that's actually dealing more damage than her on-hit because her attack speed is identical and crit items are cheaper(In fact bork now has a lot less attack speed than it used to, and with the items I mentioned + the full 30% from alacrity rune she'd have 2.5 attack speed. This seems a little ridiculous to me).

The fact that in a snowball meta Vayne has a 54% winarte against her biggest counter in lane, Cait, speaks by itself.

Prolly cuz her whole kit has no counter-play. Also for those who say kill the champion before they kill you is counter-play, cmon really?

my vayne small rework suggestion range from 550 to 500 w now deals magic damage final hour when used now gives extra 30/50/70 range w now becomes true damage

Now she is strong during her ultimate

Vayne is never in a balanced spot to begin with. She's on either one of the spectrum (good or bad) at any given point in Leagues history. So as a vayne main I somewhat agree with you.

She should get rework honestly. Considering how powerful her silverbolts are, she should have some sort of minigame or condition to proc them, something similar to how Fiora procs her passive dancing around her oponnent or GP's minigame with barrels. Those were some of the historically best Lol reworks.

Her current kit is really bad balance wise, she will always be too strong or too weak.She has all the tools in the world to outplay her oponnent, but her oponnents, can't really outplay her, since her entire damage comes from just right clicking. Battle vs Vayne is pretty much just a stat check vs stat check.You either have enough damage and cc to lock her down and pop her or she kills everyone, there is no other counterplay.

On short rework her W, give it some sort of mechanic that oponnents and Vayne herself would have to play around, then balance her accordingly.

shes very strong right now lmao. almost 52% wr with 25%+ playrate.

any top laner that isn't a tank would have been hot gixed in 12 hours with these stats

I need to just start macro'ing this response.

It is not a problem with vayne, it is a problem with the game state and mechanics. Vayne is just benefitting greatly from early game and snowball mechanics coupled with the new patch. ADC's have a great advantage at the moment and vayne takes all of the things I mentioned and comes to the forefront of the adc's.

Again it is not champion balance, it is game balance.

A snowball ADC has a good winrate in a SNOWBALL Meta. Who would of thought?

Meta needs to change. item 3087 should be unable to crit imo.
