GAREN'S rework

I often come down pretty hard on Riot (I hate the GP rework, and think it's a case of making skills deliberately obtuse to justify absurd damage values) but I have to say; The GAREN rework is pure gold.

I have never felt so great playing GAREN as I have since his rework. Everything about him just gels so perfectly now. I was incredibly pessimistic when they first released his rework on PBE (your e slows you because fuck garen right?), but between then and now, every possible problem with him was fixed. I don't even mind the nerfs (less move speed, soon you can't become villain by killing him) because they actually make sense (unlike saaaaaaay olaf's nerfs of yesteryear).

The new items (ok, Dead Man's Plate) also seem to be tailor made to Garen, and just make him feel like a real badass, crashing into the enemy team at mach 12 to fuck shit up.

The cool thing too, is that I still don't mind facing him in lane, because despite feeling better to play as, I don't think he feels worse to play against.

Again, I usually disagree with riot almost on principle, but this is just phenomenal.

Basically what I'm trying to say is thanks for choosing the side of JUSTICE Riot.

I also love to play Garen but the ult damage on the villain needs to be touched on. My team was all AD and I ulted the enemy naut; even though he didn't have MR outside of item 3111 2K true damage is a lot.

Honestly, i have the exact opposite impression. I loved garren befor the rework. He was in a great spot ever since his passive was buffed. Now there is to much power pushed into his villian thing aways from W and Q. he's so vulnerable vs peel/kite(probably not as big of a problem in lower elos), but he's totally overbearing vs any melee that happens to do well and thus becomes a vilian. He's less fun to play for me, and far less fun to play against....
