I've been curious as to why the reset is only on kills because it was a great change but feels mediocre when she's played as support; mainly trying to get her carry kills and not herself. Also, her current state employs a terrible play style as she is incentivized to go for one shots instead of getting damage on the enemy team during a fight even though it is one of the largest AOE spells in the game.
supports want to have a reset on assist, lane-clearing ult that is already under a minute's cooldown
Luxsport would feel less punishing if she weren't a midlaner not designed for a strong support role.
If they want Lux support to be better... they should be getting support boosts. Lux should not be defined by how many times she can spam a nearly lane-clearing laser. Chop a touch of damage out of her passive to give her shield some sort of boost.
Post like these make me feel ashamed of just wanting to be gold.
Trust me, she doesn’t need that.
And Lux support, while possible, is not her ideal role and she shouldn’t be balanced around it.
As for her play style, she’s always been more towards a one shot burst build, as her main poke doesn’t have as much range as a Xerath or Vel’Koz, with a higher cooldown
