For all seriousness, this is exactly what Jagex did a while back when they completely redesigned the HUD for Runescape. Thousands of people did not enjoy it until months later after still getting used to the new layout. This is going to cause many problems with your current players as it may with new ones, however, listen to the community and revert the change, OR, find a way to give us an option to switch between the old and the new. I don't care if it will hinder your progress such as champion updates, patches, etc. Just don't be the company that has failed to listen to their community.

yes, because the issue with Jagex was that they remade the HUD it has nothing to do with their horrible decisions, splitting populations between 2 separate systems, charging money to access most of the content while still having all these stupid members only content on the free player part of the game just to annoy the free player base and have no actual way of even accessing the payed content like osme other games do at the very least (or just making it a monthly fee altogether). The only positive thing i can say about Runescape is that you can play it on the browser without much hassle, other than that Runescape is just a mess that died as soon as people learned they could get decent games for free or great game for the amount they were paying to access the paid content of runescape

Dear christ is the new hud for runescape bad. Runescape 2007 hud for life.

(I like the new hud for league more though, dont hurt me :v)

The Runescape HUD update was awesome. It gave a lot of versatility in how you could position everything, which is the exact opposite of what Riot has done. They even had presets for those who didn't care to customize, including the old HUD. Actually figuring out how to modify the HUD was the only tricky thing to figure out. The complaints against it were only so large because the playerbase is idiotic, 100x worse than what Riot suffers.

I'm just gonna be completely honest here with my opinion on this HUD complaint: You guys are just thrown off by the change so it feels weird, and these posts are just here because you want whats old and you've grown fond of because you don't want change.

Although, you won't except that change might be for the best sometimes and really nobody even fucking complained about this HUD update until it hit live, before that everyone was like "oh thats cool" but then they realized they would have to adapt to this new hud and instead of trying that they spent all their time bitching on the boards.

This new HUD will not be the downfall of League, in fact, I fail to see what this could do to even make people not want to play, this new HUD is slick and just..looks great.

Its also a bit more convient than the old one and really its just better. The only fail they've had lately is this whole Fiora Fiasco (Haha!)

Jagex killed their game on christmas 2007 iirc. The day they started tackling real world trading at the expense of pvp. Took them like 2 years to revert their shitty decision and by then all the older players left leaving them with an influx of new players that quit sooner and didn't stick to the game longer.

I stopped playing that day and regretted ever putting my time into the game - about 4 years...

If this HUD thing isn't customizable in about a week or 2 or revertable to old one I'm going to leave as well. If they can't cater to their older playerbase they don't deserve my time or money.

I have other things to do in my free time other than frustratingly spending a month to maybe get used to the layout.

my only complaint is that i cant find the ping buttons and all chat anymore the rest is adaptable tough i wish that i could change the entire HUD bar upside down sometimes

The new Runescape HUD is fucking great, what are you even talking about? Also, you can just go play 07 if you don't like it, Jagex has finally listened to their community and they have seen a player increase because of it.
