Can there be an option to toggle cone attachment on abilities?

For me, it's very awkward to have to right click forward before using a cone ability as opposed to targeting a specific area and have my champion walk forwards to use the skill once they are in range.

Yet at the same time I understand people who don't want to walk into the enemy team for no reason.

So can there be an option, Riot, for people with different playstyles?
