Anyone have tips for a gold mid/top main?

I started out 2 seasons ago as a silver player. It wasn't until now that I got to gold a month ago, so Im kind of new to a whole community of people who are semi decent, as I can't really stomp them like i used to in silver/bronze. I main mid and top, mid for strong roams and top for splitting. However, Ive recently gotten a bit stuck in g3, smack dab in the middle of gold. I feel like i can get to plat by the end of the season, which would be one hell of an achievement for me starting the season bronze 1. Any tips for what I should do to improve gameplay?
