Is not how you play her? I got forced with her on nemesis and had no idea what I was doing so I did on hit cause that seemed like it would flow well with her E.

Build tank and rush into the enemy group. Hope they are dumb enough to think eve is a threat and will kill you while your team of [any other champions] kills them faster than eve can.
You can build devourer and bork on her, but you need to build tank to do so. You can also go AP, spam Q, and stay back a little.
AP Hybrid tank seems to work best for me. Mix of AP and AD runes, Triforce, Mpen boots, Gunblade, Sunfire, SV, and then whatever for the last item. That'y my situational slot.
warrior enchant -> triforce -> tank is generally how i build her. save the triforce for your last item if you haven't gotten at least 1 kill during lane phase.
on-hit eve is good. Got deleted by her a few times in Nemesis.
