About Twitch's Kit and it's Mechanics...
This little discussion is going to be about Twitch and the way his kit ends up working out, however it's going to be primarily about his Passive and his E, Contaminate.
First off, We all have noticed the sudden rise in popularity that Brand has experienced. It's no question why, either. The way his passive works with Deathfire Touch is incredible. It's a lot more damage than one might expect, as it doesn't look too intimidating on paper. However, one thing about that has bothered me heavily. If Deathfire Touch is going to apply on Brand's Passive, why can't it apply on Twitch's? This is a question I've had for a while. It would be an interesting idea, let Twitch's passive apply Deathfire, and it creates a new way to play the Plague Rat. Instead of max-stacking his passive on a bunch of enemies solely so you can pop Contaminate on as many people as possible, you could instead have a Twitch build about Maintaining Deadly Venom stacks on his opponents, and busting his Contaminate only if he needs a quick burst of damage.
Maybe, to make this work and not be stupid OP, is, upon popping Contaminate, it will consume all stacks of Deadly Venom and deal half of the remaining true damage the person would've taken along side the E damage. Another way to make this playable is to swap some numbers around so that the passive damage remains, overall, the same, but lasts less time.
Overall, this would create an alternate build path for Twitch, meaning he isn't forced into BotRK and Youmuu's rush, but would diversify what the Plague Rat can do, creating a "Deathfire Touch/Passive Tick/Tons of AD" build, and a classic "Attack Speed/Rat-a-Tat-Tat" build.
I know my complaint may not seem valid, and is just hopeful, but I think it would be entertaining and fun to just have an alternate build for Twitch players to go, much like the diversification of BT/TriForce Ezreal and Blue Ezreal. Each would have a proper place and time where it's simply better for one to be in your game rather than the other.
Thanks for reading my rambling,
