The more I believe the problem doesn't lie with their kits, but with the synergy of Deadman's Plate and Sterak's. The champions might need little numbers tweaks, but these items are absolutely core on the juggernauts. They rarely build other items, because Deadman's + Black Cleaver effectively removes one of their supposedly fatal flaws: mobility.

I don't know man. Those items are good on Sion and Trundle, yet they're not completely stomping everyone in the same manner as Darius and Garen are. Sterak's and DMP are awesome on Mundo as well, but he's not stomping everyone either.
For garen it's the stupid ass villain thing winning him the lane phase by being even more of an idiot than the average Garen player.
