WHY does Gangplank's W flat out cancel Mord's ult?

I'm sorry but can anyone please tell me of ANY other ultimate in the game where Gangplank's W straight up makes the ult used against him do 100% nothing? I mean LITERALLY nothing as in no CC or dmg at ALL.

I get QSS can cancel it out. It cancels out other ults like Urgot's execute or Malzahar's suppression ult and you have to dump gold into it and it takes up an item slot. But WHY does a basic ability completely and totally negate EVERYTHING Mord's ult does? Even the ults that QSS negates at least SOMETHING else happens. Malz gets at least ONE tick of dmg off and Urgot has a slow and a bit of dmg on it without the execute.

I'm sorry but the instant Gangplank cleansed my ult in the first Mord game I played, I realized how idiotic you made his ult if a simple basic ability can get rid of the entire thing.

And just to be 100% clear, I WATCHED the replay. Gangplank's W goes on CD the right after I ulted him with Mord ult and he used it the instant the ult canceled, so I know that's how he got out of it.

Okay, so why would you want to cleanse scurvy? Because it's a mild inconvenience? Because it hurts a bit? No. Because it kills you.

Remove Scurvy should obviously cleanse the death realm.

(Nevermind the fact it also cleanses suppresses, so you don't have much of an argument.)

I think it flies. If cleanse, qss and his w remove it I’m not arguing.

Because the ultimate is a Suppress for the sole reason of being removable. Imagine, for a moment, that you would not be able to counter Realm of Death.

Mordekaiser would immediately become a 100% ban rate champion in ranked and pro play for the simple reason that he can go full tank, ult the enemy carry and they can do NOTHING about it.

Honestly.... Most R have hard CC and damage tied in togeather. Ornages do remove a massive amount of nonj ulti abilitys that exclusively apply CC. Nasus Zilean for example.

Malz, WW, Urgot, Skarner etc. If it has CC attached to it GP can make it useless with his W. GP's W is for all intents and purposes a free QSS.

I do believe Morde still has the stolen stats even if the ultimate gets cleansed so it doesn't entirely go to waste.
